The Australian Pain Society will be working with Carbon Neutral to plant a tree for every APS 2026 registered delegate.
The Plant-a-Tree Program aims to restore landscapes and reproduce natural ecosystems by only planting trees and shrubs that are native to the region.
If you would like to contribute to this program, you can purchase additional trees at $2.50 each . This will be added to the tree that will be purchased on your behalf by the APS.
Please choose the number of trees you would like to have planted below. Since APS 2021, almost 5,000 trees have been planted, thanks to generous donations by delegates.

Registration Cancellation Policy If notification of cancellation is made in writing to the Conference Secretariat prior to Tuesday 24 February 2026, a full refund will be given (less an AU$175 processing fee). After this date no refund will be given, however a substitute delegate may be accepted. Refunds for social functions will be given at the discretion of the Conference Secretariat.Late Payment Policy Early Bird Registration Fees Early bird registrations fees are applicable for delegates who have registered before 24 February 2026. Please note, any early bird registrations not paid for by 17 March 2026 will automatically be amended and invoiced to the standard registration fee.Standard Registration Fees Standard registrations fees are applicable for delegates who have registered after 24 February 2026. Please note, any standard registrations not paid for by 14 April 2026 will automatically be amended and invoiced to the late registration fee, this includes any delegates who originally registered at the early bird rate.Liability / Insurance Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Neither the Australian Pain Society nor DC Conference & Association Management will accept liability for, but not limited to:
Damages of any nature (including financial) sustained by participants, or loss or damage to their personal property in the event of industrial disruptions or natural disasters, loss;
Loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the Conference or through cancellation of the Conference;
Loss of international/domestic air fares or accommodation through cancellation for any reason;
Medical Expenses.
Insurance is the responsibility of the individual delegate and should be purchased in your country of origin. Delegates are strongly recommended to take out a suitable travel insurance policy including coverage for non-refundable registration fees when you register for the meeting and book your travel.Force Majeure The Conference Secretariat shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, strike, civil, governmental or military authority, acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of war, epidemics, the unavailability of the venue or other similar causes beyond its reasonable control and without fault or negligence.
For one or more of such reasons, the Conference Secretariat and any co-organisers of the meeting may postpone, reschedule or cancel the event without liability on the part of Conference Secretariat and any co-organisers of the meeting. In the event the meeting cannot be held or is postponed pursuant to this section, the Conference Secretariat and any co-organisers of the meeting shall not be liable to attendee for any direct, consequential or incidental damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodations costs, or financial losses.Photography There will be photographs taken throughout the conference and at the social events. These may be used for promotional activities, including the APS website and on social media. If you do not want your photograph taken, or used, please notify the photographer onsite.
