Information you provide in this Registration Form, and at any other time during the Meeting, will be collected and stored by the Organisers to:

• register your attendance at the Symposium;
• assist with administrative and planning purposes;
• facilitate your requirements in relation to the Symposium; and
• allow the compilation and analysis of statistics relevant to the Symposium.

If you do not give consent for your details to be held for the above purposes, you cannot register for the Symposium and you will be redirected to the Symposium website. If this is the case, please contact the Data Controller Officer noted below to discuss your concerns.

> Why are we processing your personal data?

We ask for your personal data to facilitate your registration for the event. Your data will be shared with other suppliers and third parties in order to process your registration. These will include:

• The hotel you choose to place a reservation with
• Symposium sponsors (please note that you have the opportunity to opt out of allowing your information to be shared with sponsors during the registration process)
• Stripe Credit Card Gateway Service
• Symposium venue (should you have a dietary or special requirement)

> How long will we store your personal data?

Your personal data will be retained by us for up to 24 months after the conclusion of this event.

> Additional Information

You retain the right to request that we forget or anonymise your personal data. If you have attended any event with us, we will retain any financial, tax or event attendance records for reporting reasons, but will remove all personal data from our database, leaving an “anonymised” record for reporting reasons.

We understand plans sometimes change. If you accept and then find you can no longer attend the Welcome Reception, please email the Symposium Team. No-shows contribute to food waste and unnecessary costs, which we aim to avoid in our efforts to host a sustainable event.

Payment
Delegates are encouraged to pay via credit card at the time of registration. Payment can be made by credit card or invoice/EFT transfer in Australian Dollars only. Payments must be received within 14 days of invoice date.

Cancellation policy
No refunds will be given, however a substitute delegate may be accepted by giving notification of the change in writing to the SABR Symposium Secretariat.

Liability / Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Neither the SABR Symposium nor DC Conference & Association Management (DCC&A) will accept liability for, but not limited to:

Damages of any nature (including financial) sustained by participants, or loss or damage to their personal property in the event of industrial disruptions or natural disasters, loss;
Loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the Symposium or through cancellation of the Symposium;
Loss of international/domestic air fares or accommodation through cancellation for any reason;
Medical Expenses.

Insurance is the responsibility of the individual delegate and should be purchased in your country of origin. Delegates are strongly recommended to take out a suitable travel insurance policy including coverage for non-refundable registration fees when you register for the Workshop and book your travel.

Force Majeure
The Organisers (SABR Symposium and DCC&A) shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, strike, civil, governmental or military authority, acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of war, epidemics, the un-availability of the venue or other similar causes beyond its reasonable control and without fault or negligence. For one or more of such reasons, the Organisers of the Symposium may postpone, reschedule or cancel the event without liability on the part of the Organisers of the Symposium. In the event the Symposium cannot be held or is postponed pursuant to this section, the Organisers of the Symposium shall not be liable to attendee for any direct, consequential or incidental damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodations costs, or financial losses.
